ACCOMMODATIONS & LAYOUT:

VESSEL WALKTHROUGH:
This is a fantastic, custom built downeast yacht with wonderful accommodations. Starting from her large foredeck and wide side decks, it is safe and easy to move about, at rest or underway. The S/S bow rail and teak hand rails provide additional safety. The large cockpit and helm deck have a teak sole, the space is great. There is a seat along the transom. This hardtop cruiser has an aft cockpit canvas cover for when you leave the boat and a back drop canvas to enclose the hardtop. The side windows and center windshield open for proper air flow. There are two S/S helm chairs, not yet installed.

The interior is very well designed and comfortable. Good ventilation and light have been provide for by four S/S opening ports and three hatches. You enter through a center companionway from the helm deck. Head room is 6' 2" below and 6' 5" under the hardtop. The bulkheads are white with teak trim, easy to maintain and they look great.

GALLEY:
The galley is to port with good storage and countertop space. The two burner cook top is propane and equipped with a Trident gas control system. The refrigerator is above the countertop for easy access and is equipped with a freezer. The sink has a hot & cold mixing faucet.

HEAD:
The enclosed head is to starboard with separate shower stall and electric head with holding tank. The holding tank has a Tank Watch system.

CABIN:
The forward portion of the cabin has two large berths that also serve as the seating for the centerline dining table. The table lowers to combine the two berths into one large sleeping area. The locker doors have cane fronts. The sole is Douglas Fir (Bubinga). The head liner looks great and is easy to maintain. This is a very fine new yacht.

ELECTRONICS:
The helm is to starboard with proper navigational aids.  360 degree visibility is great through 3 large windshields, side windows that open, and aft.

Raymarine radar RL70C Raymarine L760 GPS plotter

DECK AND HULL:
This vessel has a large foredeck and wide side decks. The large cockpit has a teak sole, Scandvik cockpit shower, and transom seating. The hardtop has a short mast with anchor light, radar dome, horns, VHF antenna, and hand rails. The teak bow pulpit has a Progress I electric windlass with controls on deck and at the helm, and the anchor roller with chrome plow type anchor. The yacht has cockpit canvas and drop curtain to form an aft bulkhead.

This cold molded yacht was built to the highest standards by Mast & Mallet, near Annapolis, Maryland. The full keel, hull has two layers of fiberglass over a double planked, Western Red Cedar structure, completely embedded in the West System Epoxy Resin. The decks and house structure have one layer of fiberglass over the completely epoxied wooden construction. There is a rub rail the full length of the vessel. The transom is varnished mahogany over the fiberglass. The hull is dark blue and the decks and house are an off white. The boat was painted with Awlgrip. The hull shape is wonderful and looks like the perfect Downeast Picnic Boat that she is.
