ACCOMMODATIONS & LAYOUT:
VESSEL WALKTHROUGH:
There is a large private owner's cabin aft, spacious saloon, down
galley with first class equipment, laundry room and private guest
cabin. The guest cabin is forward from the galley and is entered
through a hinged teak door in the forward companionway. The guest
head is entered from the guest cabin. The galley is port side aft of
the guest cabin. The laundry room/forward head is opposite the galley and is
equipped with separate side-by-side Whirlpool washer and dryer units.
The large saloon is on the main deck, up four steps from the galley and
laundry. The lower helm station is forward on the starboard
side. Cane entry doors port and starboard give access to the side
decks. The large owner's cabin is aft and down four steps from the
saloon.
The raised aft deck is reached by steps from both the port and
starboard side decks and is shaded by a removable sunshade supported by
the boom. The flybridge is up three steps from the aft deck.
It has a bimini top and is fully enclosed with zippered clear
curtains. There is seating for the helmsman and 8 adults on modular
seating and an L-shaped settee.
The wide decks are protected by safety railings. The foredeck has
a pulpit with 2 anchors in rollers and an electric windlass.
MASTER STATEROOM:
The spacious aft cabin is entered through hinged double teak doors aft
in the saloon at the companionway. There is an island queen bed,
makeup desk, several drawers including a large chart flat, built-in night
tables, cabinets, large hanging locker and a hidden compartment in the
headboard for valuables. Large opening port lights on three sides
provide ventilation and natural lighting. The ensuite head has a
large shower enclosure with tub, mirrored vanity with cultured marble sink
and countertop, drawers, cabinets and a Vacu-flush marine head.
Lighting is provided by brass reading lights, flush mounted fixtures in
the overhead, and lamps. This lovely cabin has been professionally
decorated with designer fabrics and accessories. This treatment
together with the traditional finely joined teak cabinetry and parquet
soles gives this room a very comfortable and inviting ambiance.
GUEST STATEROOM:
The guest stateroom has a traditional V-berth arrangement using
oversized berths with drawers beneath each berth. A large hanging
locker is portside and there is a full length mirror on the forward
bulkhead by the locker. There are opening port lights above each bed
and a large hinged hatch centered above the berths. A brass reading
light above each berth and an overhead fixture provide ample light for
this cabin. Designer fabrics are evident in the bed covers, pillows
and curtains. There is a hinged teak door which separates this cabin
from the galley. The head is accessible from either the guest stateroom or
from the companionway at the galley, and has a separate shower enclosure,
a Vacu-flush marine head, a cultured marble sink and countertop, mirrored
vanity, drawer and cabinet storage and opening port light. There is
an exhaust fan, overhead light fixtures in the shower and head, and an
electric shower sump.
MAIN SALON:
The saloon is very comfortable, spacious, bright and open.
Forward to port is a breakfast bar which overlooks the galley. This
area can also serve as a navigation table. The lower helm station is
forward in the saloon to starboard and has a full compliment of
electronics. A large roll-top bar sits just
aft of the helm, with a S/S sink, glass and bottle storage, an icemaker
and drawers. Next aft is the large L-shaped settee, which seats 4
adults comfortably and converts to a double bed. A custom hi-lo
table sits in front of the settee and doubles as both a cocktail and a
dining table. The built-in entertainment center is in the port aft
corner, and has teak tambour doors with drawers beneath. This unit
houses the 19" color TV, VCR and stereo. There are two swivel barrel chairs
forward of the entertainment center. Two teak dining chairs at the
breakfast bar can be moved to the table for dining. There is a cabin
entry door by the breakfast bar and another by the helm to
starboard. Large windows forward, port and starboard, provide
excellent natural lighting and visibility from the helm and all seating
areas. Two smaller windows aft in the saloon provide additional
visibility aft and to the sun deck. Two portside windows, one
starboard and one aft provide additional visibility aft and to the sun
deck. Two windows portside, one starboard and one aft, open and have
screens. The sole is teak parquet. Again custom fabrics are
used in the window treatments and throw pillows. The settee and
chairs are off-white leather.

The galley is down from the saloon, on the same level as the laundry
and guest cabin. It is nicely arranged and well-equipped for food
storage and preparation, either underway or dockside. Although the
galley is down, it is open to the saloon from above and has natural
lighting from the forward saloon windows. It is arranged in a
U-shape and everything is easily accessible. The countertop is
off-white Formica with hatches for the pantry, freezer and stovetop.
Flush fitting sink covers provide additional counter space when in place
and reverse to reveal teak cutting boards. There is ample above and
below counter storage cabinets, dish and glassware storage and teak front
drawers. There is also a large storage area beneath the galley sole.
LAUNDRY:
The laundry is in the aft portion of the guest head opposite the
galley, with a hinged teak door which opens to the companionway. The

instrumentation. A large spoked teak and S/S ship's wheel is mounted
on the face of the console. There are (2) modular seating units at
the forward console, both have back-to-back seating with cushions and
storage areas beneath. The starboard seat is the helmsman's
seat. A Lexan Venturi windscreen is mounted on top of the console. A
large L-shaped settee with cushions and storage is aft of the helm
seat to starboard. A varnished teak hatch cover table is pedestal
mounted in front of the settee. S/S railings and dodgers surround
the aft area of the flybridge. A custom top, supported by a welded
aluminum frame and radar arch, covers the flybridge. Full weather
curtains and zip out panels are installed on all four sides. The
traditional trawler mast with boom is stepped at the aft end of the bridge
deck. The mast carries the 6' radar scanner, spreader lights,
halyards and a block and tackle for handling a dinghy. A S/S railing

REMARKS:
"Popeye" was ordered by the original owner for use in
the far east and was completely equipped with electronics, Sea Power
generator, ground tackle, canvas, watermaker and most other items normally
installed by a dealership in the United States. This is advantageous
in that all the equipment was engineered for installation by the factory
as the vessel was being constructed. The current owners have added
many items and upgraded some electronics. She is offered for sale
due to the owner's change in plans. SELLER WILL CONSIDER A SMALLER
BOAT IN TRADE!
EXCLUSIONS:
All owner's personal effects, including photos, some decorator
accessories, the hi-lo table (which will be replaced by the standard Grand
Banks yacht table), the recliner chair and ottoman (which will be replaced
by a barrel chair matching the one now on board), the sunshine lamp, and
the owner's clothing, personal navigation gear and cooking utensils.
