The Beneteau 285 is a performance cruiser as evidenced by her selection a few
years ago for the Liberty cup regatta, an annual match race event held in New York Harbor.
Not only is she fast and maneuverable, she is also a very stable cruiser with
excellent below deck accommodations. Her aft stateroom and aft head reflect the
latest thinking on cruiser layout. The interior is bright and attractive with nice
woody touches in the teak and holly sole and in the excellent joinery and cabinetry.
